Basketball Team Seeks Revenge In Rematch

San Leandro High boys basketball team will try to even the score when it plays Bishop O'Dowd High tonight.

The game begins at 7 p.m. at the San Leandro High gym.

On Jan. 5, Bishop O'Dowd defeated the Pirates at their gym, 72-50. It's San Leandro's only loss so far in Hayward Area Athletic League action.

San Leandro has won three out of four since. They are 14-3 overall and 6-1 in league, including a 61-54 victory against Moreau Catholic High on Wednesday night.

Bishop O'Dowd is 12-4 overall and a perfect 7-0 in league play. In their last game, the Dragons blitzed Arroyo High, 86-23, on Wednesday night. They have now won seven in a row.

San Leandro Patch will be at the game this evening and will provide a report on the contest late Friday night.
