Body Found In Water Near San Leandro Marina
A person walking along the Bay Trail on Sunday spotted the deceased individual, police said.

SAN LEANDRO, CA –A body was pulled from the water Sunday afternoon near the San Leandro Marina, and it will be up to the coroner's office to determine an identity and a cause of death, police said.
A passer-by walking the Bay Trail near the marina called police about 3:30 p.m. Sunday to report a body floating in the water, said police Lt. Randy Brandt. The body was recovered and transported to the Alameda County Coroner's Office.
It was not immediately apparent whether the body was that of a man or a woman, Brandt said. At this initial stage, there was no suggestion of foul play, he added, nor any apparent clues as to how or when the person passed away.
