Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation of San Leandro Store

Nothing was found. The bomb threat disrupted holiday weekend shopping.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A San Leandro Wal-Mart was evacuated Sunday afternoon after a male suspect called the store and said a bomb was inside, police said.

A store manager called police at 3:25 p.m. to report the threat at the store at 15555 Hesperian Blvd.

Officers responded and searched the store. Nothing suspicious was found, police Lt. Isaac Benabou said.
