Bounty From The Garden: Photos Of The Day

August is the pay-off month for Bay Area gardeners who have worked tirelessly all summer in their vegetable patches.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — August is yielding a bountiful harvest in gardens across the Bay Area, providing home gardeners with enough to eat, some to share, and plenty to jar or freeze. Miyo Burnett has been busy in her garden this week. On Monday, she took the time to make jam. Apricot/Jalapeno sounds like a delicious combination! Thank you for sharing your photos, Miyo.

If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny, or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we'd love to feature it on Patch.

We're looking for high-resolution images that reflect the beauty and fun that is Northern California, and that show off your unique talents.
