So, El Portal Mexican Restaurant had their Grand Opening last Friday at 2028 Lewelling Blvd. and it was about time we had a Mexican Restaurant at Winsor Square. I did noticed that their prices were very comfortable. But, it was not the prices that were going to convinced me to come by.
I'm very picky regarding Carne Asada Nachos. Some restaurants will give you ground beef on the nachos or plastic tasting meat. But, wow..real Carne Asada on the Nachos!! The meat tasted very homemade and the melted cheese and the guacamole just added an extra kick.
The $12.99 Sunday Buffet it's one of those meals that you definetly look forward to get together with your family. I know that for Valentines Day they will be having a very Special Valentine Buffet. So, if you're in the Winsor Square neighborhood and want some home made tasting Mexican Food,...definetly go visit this place.
