Angus & Friends Cat Rescue's "Wine & Whiskers Adoption Event" in Castro Valley!

Angus & Friends Cat Rescue is returning to TwiningVine Estate Winery in Castro Valley on Sunday July 26, 2026 from 12:00pm - 4:00pm for a fun-filled day supporting rescue cats and kittens!

Join us for a wonderful afternoon filled with great wine, great company, and a great cause. Every sip and every smile helps us continue our mission of rescuing, caring for, and finding loving homes for cats in need. Weather permitting, we will have some of our adoptable cats and kittens for you to meet (sorry, no same-day adoptions).

Meet Our Sweet Adoptable Cats & Kittens

Meet some of our kitties! Although we won’t be conducting on-site adoptions at this event, our Director, Deborah, and many of our wonderful fosters and volunteers will be there to provide information about any kitty you’re interested in adopting and to explain our adoption process.

Wine tasting will be offered for a nominal charge. Wine by the glass and bottles of wine will also be available for purchase.

Whether you're hoping to adopt, show your support, or just soak up some good vibes and kitty cuddles, this event is for you! All proceeds directly support the rescue cats of Angus & Friends.

Admission and Parking are Free

Parking may be limited, so please consider ridesharing with your friends.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Outside food is no longer allowed on the winery grounds.
• This event will be held outdoors. If the weather is extremely hot on the day of the event, we may not be able to have our cats present.
