San Leandro Police say he poured an accelerant onto a tire and set an SUV on fire. It was destroyed.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who set a vehicle on fire earlier this month.
The suspect allegedly torched a white Toyota RAV4 at a residence in the 800 block of Casanova Drive on Nov. 10, police said.
According to police, a suspect walked from a blue Toyota Prius to the SUV and allegedly lit a front tire on fire with help from an accelerant and then fled the scene. The fire consumed the entire vehicle.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned man between 25-30 years old who was last seen wearing a pea coat-style jacket, blue jeans, gray shoes and driving the Prius.
