Coming Soon: Straight Shot To Bayfair Movies

The parking lot between and Century 16 Theater at Bayfair Mall has been torn up in places to create a more direct path for cars and people to get to the movies.

Currently, cars must turn left upon entering the mall from East 14th Street and make a U-shaped drive to the parking lot in front of the theater.

When the improvements are done in a couple of week, cars will be able to drive from the stop sign at the mall entryway straight to the theater.

Alongside the new access road there will be a sidewalk so that pedestrians can get from the mall to the theater more safely. Until now they've had to cross a parking lot to get from Fresh Choice to the movies.

The bus stops will not be affected.

Trees will be planted or replanted to give the new access way a spiffier look.
