Could Your Business Survive A Disaster?

Brunch and Learn program sponsored by Servpro February 24

 

Did you know that half of all businesses that sustain serious damage from earthquakes, floods and fires never re-open?

Servpro of San Leandro is teaming up with the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce on February 24 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. for a special brunch and learn presentation to educate businesses about measures they can take in advance of a disaster to help the chance their business will survive.

The event takes place in the chamber office. The cost to attend is $10 for San Leandro Chamber of Commerce members and $20 for non-members. Non-members are welcome to attend. On the brunch menu will be breakfast burritos.

Participants will learn about emergency planning techniques that can help their company, whether large or small, survive a natural or accidental disaster and each attendee will receive a flash drive to take away with them with helpful information. On the flash drive will be necessary forms and documents a business can use to develop their own customized contigency and emergency readiness plan.

To locate the chamber office inside Bayfair Center enter the mall at the entrance next to Chevy's and Fresh Choice.
