
SAN LEANDRO, CA - A vehicle collision Sunday morning in San Leandro left a driver trapped in their vehicle requiring extrication, according to fire officials.
Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle that had reportedly been traveling at a high rate of speed, before losing control and striking two parked cars and trees.
According to fire officials, the car stopped about 200 yards from the initial impact, with major front-end damage and the driver trapped inside.

The driver was successfully extracted and taken the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Fire officials there were no additionally reports of injuries, and the incident is currently under investigation.
