The first of five Spring Family Fun Nights kicks off at the San Leandro Main Library January 25 at 7 p.m. when the library hosts a Lunar New Year Magic Show and Lion Dance.
The event is free and includes the magic of Tamaka and the Empress followed by a performance by a lion dance group.
Refreshments will be served at this free event open to families and children will receive lucky "lai see" envelopes in honor of the Lunar New Year.
