Monarchs at the Golf Course

The Monarch butterflies return to the same trees every year at the San Leandro Marina to spend the winter.  Come see the beautiful butterflies and learn about their life cycle from a butterfly expert.  After a brief talk, you will take a short walk to see large clusters of butterflies in the Eucalyptus trees.  Wear comfortable shoes that can get a bit dirty.  Bring your own binoculars or borrow some provided by the tour guide.  Register through the Recreation and Human Services Dept. by calling 510-577-3462.  To arrange a school or group tour contact Adrienne DePonte at: sanleandrobutterflies@earthlink.net
