The Northern California Skipper's Club is holding its 20th annual Sturgeon Derby on Saturday, Feb. 19.
Participants can fish all waters of the San Francisco Bay and Delta.
The derby begins one hour before sunrise. Weigh in will be from 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the boat launch. Any fish not in by 3:30 p.m. will be disqualified.

The entry fee is $25 and can be purchased at the following three locations:

Entry fees must be paid in cash and received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18.
Awards: (All derby expenses and longest legal fish award will be deducted from entry fee pool prior to the prize split; $2.50 of each entry fee will go to the Skipper's Club "little kids" fishing program.)
Longest legal fish: $350
First place: 30% of entrance fee pool
Second place: 25%
Third place: 20%
Fourth place: 15%
Fifth place: 5%
Consolation prize: 5%
