Each Tuesday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Bayfair Center in San Leandro hosts a children's storytime.
Come listen to stories and enjoy making crafts afterwards.
Storytime is held each week in a spot located between the children's play area and the center court of the mall.

I have taken my granddaughter a number of times. Turns out the mall has a grant for this and occasional Saturday activities for local kids/families, but it is in danger of being discontinued if more kids don't show up.
Believe me, as a former nursery school teacher and a picky grandma, I find the "teacher" really top-notch.. The crafts are interesting and easy for toddlers with the help of an adult, and are themed to one of the stories of the day.
They are not the usual run-of-the mill things, but show some real thought, and the kids love them. If you are looking for a fun different activity for the toddlers/preschoolers, check it out.
