On Tuesday, July 31st from 1 pm to 4 pm, the San Leandro Main Library will host an origami paper crane marathon for teens going into grades 7 to 12. The goal is to fold 1,000 paper cranes in 3 hours to celebrate the library’s California Reads program. The cranes will be displayed in the library. Japanese snacks will be served. This event is free.
