Evergreen Nursery Cancer Fundraiser

is hosting “In the Spirit of Pink,” a local breast cancer fundraiser May 19 and 20 as part of the "Invincible Spirit Campaign" to raise $1 million for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The nursery is located at 350 San Leandro Boulevard, San Leandro just one-half mile north of the San Leandro BART station. 

Approximately one in eight women run the risk of developing breast cancer at some point in their life. This is a great opportunity to have fun and raise money for a good cause.

The public is invited to the event, which will include pink costumes, new pink plants, food and fun to build awareness about the important mission of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
