Spring is here — and so are newly set but unripe fruits.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — For gardeners, one of the joys of spring is noticing that a fruit tree has set fruit, pointing to an abundant harvest later in the year.

Miyo Burnett shared this photo of one of her fig trees, Black Mission or Violette de Bordeaux. According to Miyo, while both are delicious, the Bordeaux is a darker red inside.

Thank you for sharing, Miyo!
