Fire Temporarily Displaces 3 in San Leandro

BREAKING: The fire broke out early Sunday morning.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Alameda County Firefighters put out a small fire in San Leandro on Sunday. There were no injuries, but three people were temporarily displaced by the fire.

The call came in at approximately 6:30 a.m. for a working structure fire on the 1500 block of 150th Ave.

The fire was in items around a duplex. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire, preventing it from entering the duplex.

The Red Cross responded to the scene to assist with temporary shelter for three female occupants, afetr smoke entered the residence through a broken window.

The cause of the 1-alarm fire is under investigation.
