Firefighter Injured Battling San Leandro House Fire
The firefighter was rushed to the hospital for his injuries.
SAN LEANDRO, CA - An Alameda County firefighter sustained non-life threatening injuries Thursday evening battling a house fire in unincorporated San Leandro, according to the fire department.

As they battled the blaze, firefighters evacuated approximately 15 homes as a precaution. The fire was contained to the original home, and surrounding residents were able to return to their homes an hour later, the department reports.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. An estimated dollar loss has not been disclosed.
