SAN LEANDRO, CA — Crews have placed under control a three-alarm structure fire that ignited late Tuesday night in San Leandro, according to 1:28 a.m. tweet Wednesday from the Alameda County Fire Department.

Crews were on the scene throughout the night.

The post came roughly 90 minutes after the department reported that a firefighter had minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

The structure fire burned a "heavily fortified" commercial building with a grow operation at 139th and Washington avenues, according to officials, which first reported its response to the fire in a 9:55 p.m. tweet Tuesday.

Oakland Fire Department provided mutual aid.
