House Fire Reported In Oakland Overnight
Firefighters battled the blaze for about a half-hour before getting it under control.

OAKLAND, CA — Firefighters responded to a blaze at a single-story home in Oakland this morning, according to the Oakland Fire Department.
The one-alarm fire was reported at about 3 a.m. in the 2100 block of 109th Avenue. Fire officials report that the fire was located in the home's attic.
At 3:33 a.m., fire officials reported that the blaze was under control.
