Kiwanis To Host Poker Tournament In San Leandro
Know when to hold 'em? Know when to fold 'em? Then save your seat. Space is limited to 50, and proceeds benefit charity.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — The Kiwanis Club of San Leandro will host a Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament next month, with tickets now on sale.
The event will be Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Englander Club, at 101 Parrott St in San Leandro. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for check-in, free lessons and appetizers. The game begins at 6:30 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit local charities, organizers said.

Tickets are limited to 50 players and are available from any San Leandro Kiwanian or by calling Mary Grodin at (510) 562-1029. Not much of a player? Observer tickets are available for $20.
