SAN LEANDRO, CA — Have you ever tried chayote squash? It is packed with vitamins, minerals, and fiber, delivering strong doses of vitamins B9 and C for less than 50 calories per serving. According to Healthline, it also contains the antioxidants quercetin, myricetin, morin, and kaempferol.
This chayote was grown by Miyo Burnett, where it is hanging out on the vine until she is ready to cook it.
Thank you for sharing your photo, Miyo!
