Magnitude 3.4 Earthquake Shakes East Bay
A pair of earthquakes were felt near San Leandro Sunday, sending waves throughout the East Bay.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A 3.4 magnitude earthquake rattled the East Bay Sunday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. Preceding the 11:43 a.m. quake was a smaller 2.6 magnitude shake.
The smaller quake was recorded near Lake Chabot, while the 3.4 quake struck close to San Leandro.
No injuries or damaged structures have been reported.
