Making a Difference through Collaboration
We believe that there's strength in numbers so we're putting our minds together to promote entrepreneurship through business incubation.

A group of entrepreneurs and community leaders met Saturday, April 2, at the Pinoy Handaan restaurant in Union City (CA) to discuss collaboration on potential entrepreneurial ventures and projects.
Participants highlighted their background and experience to identify how they can contribute to this collective effort. They expressed their ideas and agreed on continuing this type of meeting every first Saturday of the month to be able to come up with sustainable and productive agenda and activities and to encourage other interested parties to join the movement to promote business startup ideas and incubation.
Among those present were notable figures within the Filipino community in Union City, namely, Manny Fernandez, Oscar Peñaranda and Glenn Nate. The event was organized by PerkStart’s Executive Director, Rowena Peñalba, in cooperation with the Global Filipino Network (GFN), led by its Founder and President, Arnold Pedrigal.
