Man Arrested, Gun With Extended Magazine Seized

A San Leandro police officer made a traffic stop that resulted in a weapons arrest.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — One man was arrested last Friday after a San Leandro patrol officer spotted an extended magazine protruding from the center console during a traffic stop.

According to police, the officer stopped the driver shortly before midnight in the area of E.14th Street and Dolores Avenue after the officer witnessed the vehicle commit several traffic violations.

The officer recovered the firearm.
