Marijuana Dispensary Burglary: 4 Arrests
Police seized cash and an arsenal of weapons as part of the investigation.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Four men have been arrested in connection with the burglary of a recently-opened marijuana dispensary in San Leandro, police said.
Detectives began an investigation after masked bandits took cannabis and cash from two safes at the dispensary at 1915 Fairway Drive on Sunday, according to police.
A review of surveillance camera footage revealed that at least four suspects, all wearing masks and gloves, pried open a rear door to gain entry into the business, police said.

By Wednesday morning, the suspects had committed at least three additional burglaries, including at a business in Oakland where a safe was taken, police said.
Hours later, the suspects were located at a home in East Oakland, where detectives executed a search and made several arrests, according to police.
Detectives also found the safe from the Oakland burglary and police said it had substantial damage because the suspects were trying to break it open.
During their investigation, detectives discovered a storage locker in San Leandro that belonged to one of the men who was arrested.
After obtaining a search warrant, the detectives inspected the locker and found an arsenal of weapons, including semi-auto handguns, high-powered assault rifles, high-capacity magazines and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition, police said.
The detectives also found nearly $40,000 in cash.
Arrested on suspicion of burglary and other offenses were Terrell Gibson, 35, Darrian Williams, 26, Jaime Kilgore, 29, and Quinn Edwards, 21.
San Leandro Police Lt. Isaac Benabou said detectives are still finalizing their report on the case before they send it to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office for charging.
But Benabou said in a statement, "We're satisfied knowing several deadly weapons have been taken off the streets and out of the hands of dangerous criminals."
The four men tentatively are scheduled to be arraigned in Alameda County Superior Court in Dublin on Friday afternoon if charges are filed against them by then. — Bay City News
