Murdered For A Cell Phone: 2 Arrests
Two 18-year-old suspects have been charged with murder.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Two teens have been arrested for the shocking murder of Daniel Carlos in San Leandro last month, the Alameda County Sheriff's Office has announced.
The out-of-work husband and father who lived in Redwood City was attempting to sell an iPhone for extra money when he was murdered in broad daylight. He had arranged to meet the proposed buyers that he connected with through an app. The rendezvous point was a gas station parking lot at the busy intersection of 159th Avenue and East 14th Street. Carlos was murdered on Nov. 18.

The two suspects arrested are Jordan Patton of San Francisco and Marcus Fortune of San Leandro, both 18-years-old.

According to Sgt. Ray Kelly, the Alameda County District Attorney has charged both suspects with murder.
