Mushrooms Pop Up After The Rain: Photos Of The Day
The mushrooms are growing on tree litter and dead tree branches at one San Leandro home.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — All of the rain that has fallen over the past week has created perfect conditions for mushrooms to sprout. Miyo Burnett has found them in abundance in her yard. She took all of the photos shown above.
A reminder: take a look at these photos of death cap and western destroying angel mushrooms, both of which grow in the East Bay. These mushrooms could kill a person or pet. Check your yard for mushrooms before letting your children outside to play.
