New San Leandro Police Officer Completes Field Training
Officer Felipe Rubalcava is now a solo officer on the midnight squad.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — The San Leandro Police Department has a new officer serving the community.
Officer Felipe Rubalcava successfully completed his field training program and has joined the midnight squad.
He underwent several months of foundational learning, police operations and community engagement, not to mention maritime training.
According to the department, "Officer Rubalcava has an incredibly positive attitude and strong work ethic, always doing more than is asked. When presented with the opportunity to help with issues in the Marina, he quickly jumped at the chance to “get his feet wet” and gain experience few ever get."
