Pair Sought In Home Invasion Robbery Attempt
The homeowner called Oakland Police from a locked room. A reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
OAKLAND, CA — Police are looking for two suspects in an Oakland home invasion robbery attempt that transpired Monday morning.
At about 7:40 a.m., the pair — one of whom was armed with a gun — somehow got into a house on Grand View Drive in an alleged effort to rob it, according to Oakland police.
The homeowner was able to escape into a locked room and call the police and the suspects fled without taking anything, police said.

No injuries were reported and police didn't provide a description of the suspects.
