Patch's Events Section Gets a Facelift

We have just redesigned the San Leandro Patch Events Section to make it easier for you to find out what's going on in and around San Leandro.

Our main events page now features five types of events we think will interest you the most:

• Featured: Editor's picks for the San Leandro area;
• Today: What's happening today;
• Tomorrow: What's happening the next day;
• This weekend: What's happening on the upcoming Saturday and Sunday;
• Art & Entertainment: From movies at the Bal Theatre to important city meetings.
  

Search for Events 

You can search all the events in the calendar by rolling over the following headings and choosing from the menus that drop down:

• Date: Find out what's happening on a particular date;
• Price: Find events in your budget;
• Category: Find specific types of events, from Fairs & Festivals to Garage Sales;
• Who to bring: Filter events by who we think will enjoy them the most.

What's Next?

In upcoming versions of the events section we're planning to:

• Add additional filtering options, such as time of day and driving distance;
• Redesign the individual event listing pages;
