Police Looking for Suspects in Drive-By Shooting

San Leandro Police are looking for suspects in a drive-by shooting that occurred, without injuries, on Tuesday afternoon. 

The suspects shot several rounds into the victim's car, but the person was not injured.

The shooting occurred in the area of 143rd Avenue and Orchid Drive just before 2 p.m. 

The person who reported the incident told dispatch that two cars were involved in the shooting, and were last seen heading north on East 14th Street, according to police. At the scene, police found multiple empty shell casings littering the street.

Police have not located any suspects and are still actively investigating the shooting, police spokesperson Lt. Jeff Tudor said. One of the suspect vehicles was described as a light-colored, two-door sedan. 

Police said the incident didn't appear to be gang related.
