$1 Million Lottery Winner: East Bay Man Wins on Scratcher

A winning California Lottery Scratchers ticket worth $1 million was recently bought in Castro Valley, lottery officials announced Thursday.

The winning ticket was bought by Kenneth Baguio at a Lucky store at 3443 Castro Valley Blvd.

Baguio told lottery officials he's been playing the California Lottery since he was 18 years old, and he recently won $600 on three different tickets. He said he plans to pay off his house and take his family on a vacation with his $1 million in winnings.
