San Leandro Chamber Celebrates New Leadership

Business and civic leaders filled the San Leandro Senior Center as the Chamber of Commerce installed its new officers Thursday night.

The event was a sellout according to Chamber President Dave Johnson with 175 guests on hand for the $75 per seat event.

The Senior Center's ballroom is one of San Leandro's most elegant public venues. The tables were set with grape colored tablecloths with service by Miraglia Catering.

Attendees from city government included:

Mayor Stephen Cassidy; Vice Mayor Michael Gregory; Council members Benny Lee, Ursula Reed, Jim Prola and Pauline Cutter; City Manager Chris Zapata; Police Chief Sandra Spagnoli; Business Development officers Cynthia Battenberg and Jeff Kay.
