San Leandro DECA takes on Orlando, Florida!

Hello. My name is Ervin Yangorin, a senior at San Leandro High School. I am a member of my high school’s DECA chapter. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. This year has been one of the most successful years in our local chapter’s history. We’ve accomplished several campaigns including membership and community service campaigns in order to receive spots to the grandest stage of the DECA program, the International Career Development Conference. We have achieved a chapter record of 14 members qualifying to attend ICDC. Although we do have 14 members qualifying, the ICDC is located in Orlando, Florida which is not cheap.
