San Leandro Man Arrested For Hurting Ducks: ACSO
Alameda County deputies arrested a San Leandro man Thursday after seeing an online video showing him stomping on a duck's head.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A San Leandro man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of animal cruelty for harming ducks at the duck pond outside the San Lorenzo Community Center.
On Jan. 18, Alameda County Sheriff’s deputies were alerted of a video circulating on social media of the man, whose name has not been released, stomping on a duck’s head, according to a department news release.
Upon further investigation, deputies learned that the suspect was allegedly seen stepping on the duck’s wings, stomping on their heads, and grabbing at least one of them by the neck and slamming it to the ground.
