San Leandro Police Investigate Drive-By Shooting
The shooting happened near the intersection Dolores and Bancroft avenues.

SAN LEANDRO, CA - Police in San Leandro are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred Tuesday.
Officers with the San Leandro Police Department responded at 5:20 p.m. to several calls of shots fired near the intersection Dolores and Bancroft avenues and speeding vehicles fleeing the scene.
The vehicles were gone when police arrived, but officers located evidence of the shooting near the intersection.

Officers located several spent shell casings from a semi-automatic pistol in the street and damage from a bullet to a condominium complex on the northeast corner of the intersection, police said.
Investigators were able to recover surveillance video from nearby residences and are continuing to speak with witnesses in an attempt to identify the suspects and victims in the incident.

Police said there has not been any information anyone was struck with gunfire.
