San Leandro Police Name New Dispatch Supervisor

A promotion ceremony will be held next month.

The San Leandro Police Department today announced the promotion of Megan Wilske to the position of Dispatch Supervisor.

She's been with the department for 16 years, climbing from the position of Public Safety Dispatcher to her current role as a member of the Tactical Dispatch Team. She has been named “Dispatcher of the Year” twice.

In her new role as Dispatch Supervisor, Wilske will oversee the daily supervision of 15 Public Safety Dispatchers within the Communications Center.

“Megan’s hard work, commitment, can-do attitude and maturity made her our choice for this position,” Chief Jeff Tudor commented.

A Promotion and Recognition Ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. The event will be held at the San Leandro Senior Center located at 13909 E. 14th Street in San Leandro.
