San Leandro Police Report 4 Arrests, Stolen Vehicles Recovered
Using Flock Safety cameras, police are tracking down stolen vehicles driving through the city.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — The San Leandro Police Department has been putting its Flock Safety cameras to work, spying stolen vehicles in the city and making arrests.
Over the weekend, the Day Squad was directed to an occupied stolen vehicle. The driver fled on foot after seeing police but was caught and arrested.
Meanwhile, members of the Night Squad were directed to two different stolen vehicles driving in the community. Officers located the vehicles, arrested the drivers and took an illegal gun off the streets.

On Oct. 29, police reported an earlier arrest. Flock directed officers to an occupied stolen vehicle. Once it was safe for the community members in the area of the stolen vehicle, officers arrested the driver.
