San Leandro Robbery Suspect Sought By Police

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Alameda County Sheriff's deputies and Fremont Police are looking for a suspect in a string of armed robberies in San Leandro and Fremont, the FPD announced on Tuesday.

Joshua Moss-Sanders, 19, is suspected of robberies that took place in August and October of 2021. During the robberies, the suspect was believed to have used a handgun, police said.

There are three felony warrants out for Moss-Sanders' arrest, two for armed robbery and another for a parole violation.

Police suspect Moss-Sanders of having access to fake identification. Police believe that he has been involved in police pursuits since the alleged robberies where he allegedly threw a firearm out of the car window and was able to avoid arrest.

Moss-Sanders is 5 foot 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds.

He has several distinctive facial tattoos, including one that says "JACKBOY" vertically down his left jawline (the "O" appears to be someone wearing a balaclava), "Ashley" over his right eye, "Edina Mae" over his left eye and words in red ink down his right jawline. He also has a tattoo on his right forearm that reads "THE JACK" with a picture of someone wearing a balaclava (ski mask).
