San Leandro Stabbing: 1 Dead, 1 Critical
The pair were stabbed in a supermarket parking lot after leaving an upscale bar and grill.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — A fight outside a San Leandro bar ended with two people stabbed Tuesday night. One person died and the other was in critical condition, according to San Leandro Police Lt. Isaac Benabou. No arrests have been made.
The stabbing happened in the Safeway parking lot in San Leandro Plaza.
According to police, four men left the Sons of Liberty Ale House, got into a fight, and two of the men were stabbed. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was rushed to the hospital.

In addition to witness statements, police are gathering evidence from video cameras in the area.
Streets in the area were closed until around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday as police conducted their investigation.
