SFO Flights Cancelled By East Coast Storm
But weather is improving so the worst is behind us. San Jose and Oakland airports are unaffected.

Bay City News -- With a storm pelting parts of the East Coast, a dozen flights to and from San Francisco International Airport were canceled today, an airport spokesman said.
Nine of the 12 cancellations were arrivals coming from the East Coast, airport spokesman Doug Yakel said.

The majority of the canceled flights were coming from JFK International Airport in New York. The others were from Newark Liberty International and Philadelphia International airports, Yakel said.
SFO had 30 canceled flights because of the storm on Wednesday, Yakel said.

The weather in the New York area looks to be getting better, and SFO doesn't anticipate any more cancellations today, Yakel said.
No flights going to or from Mineta San Jose International or Oakland International airports have been affected by the storm.
All passengers flying to the East Coast through connecting airports are encouraged to check flight status with their respective airlines.
