Shooting On I-880: CHP Seeks Witnesses
One vehicle had 2 bullet holes in it and became disabled. It happened during the Thursday evening commute.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — Two people were shot at Thursday evening on northbound Interstate Highway 880 in unincorporated Alameda County, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol said.
At about 6 p.m., the victims pulled up behind a CHP officer who was on a separate incident at northbound Highway 880 to southbound Interstate Highway 238, CHP Officer Manuel Leal said.
The victim's vehicle had become disabled there because of bullets that hit it, Leal said.

After officers talked to the victims, officers shut down the freeway for about 30 minutes to look for evidence and conduct an investigation.
Leal said the suspects continued north. CHP officials don't have a description of the suspects or the suspect vehicle, but someone may have seen something because it was rush hour, Leal said.
