Six Suffer Minor Injures in Two-Car Crash on I-880 in San Leandro

Police are seeking one person fled the scene of the collision, CHP officials said.

Police are seeking one person who fled the scene of a two-vehicle collision in San Leandro that left six people with minor injuries Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP Officer Damian Cistaro said officers responded to a report of a collision on Interstate Highway 880 near the Davis Street off-ramp at 5:44 p.m.

Emergency medical personnel transported six people to the hospital with minor injuries and Cistaro said the two cars were moved to the right hand shoulder around 6:30 p.m. Cistaro said a man involved in the collision left the scene and is still outstanding. The scene was clear as of 7:30 p.m.
