Stolen Vehicle Recovered, Suspect Arrested In San Leandro
Police report that they also recovered a loaded gun from the suspect.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — The San Leandro Police Department reports another successful arrest as a result of Flock Safety.
Night patrol officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle being driven through the city. The vehicle was located, but the driver refused to stop and led officers on a chase.
Eventually, the driver abandoned the vehicle and, according to police, took off running and tossed away a loaded gun during the foot chase.
The driver was caught and arrested, and the gun was recovered.
