Stolen Vehicle Recovered, Suspect Arrested: SLPD
Police say the suspect tried to run away during a traffic stop but was captured in a foot chase.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — One person was arrested and a stolen vehicle was recovered Wednesday morning in San Leandro, the police department reports.
The police department uses Flock Safety camera system and was alerted to the stolen vehicle. Police later learned that it had been involved in a hit-and-run crash in in San Leandro on Tuesday.
Officers located the stolen vehicle and pulled it over. During the traffic stop, the driver ran away on foot but was caught after a brief chase.
