Suspects Arrested for Allegedly Kidnapping, Forcing Teen into Prostitution

A teen girl who had been kidnapped and forced into prostitution walked into the San Francisco police Mission Station early this morning and officers quickly arrested the perpetrators, police said. The girl arrived at the Mission Station at 2:45 a.m. and told officers her attackers were in the area of 18th and Shotwell streets, an area known for prostitution, police Officer Carlos Manfredi said.

Officers quickly responded there and arrested three East Bay residents. They were identified as 21-year-old Randall Stovall of San Leandro, 22-year-old Gregory Gamble of Oakland and 18-year-old Kheyaira Franklin of San Leandro. All three were booked on suspicion of human trafficking, kidnapping, pimping, pandering and conspiracy. Franklin and Stovall were also booked on suspicion of child endangerment and Stovall on suspicion of rape, police said.

Stovall is in custody on $790,000 bail, Gamble on $715,000 bail and Franklin on $515,000 bail. Manfredi said San Francisco police are expecting an increase in human trafficking activity with Super Bowl 50 festivities gearing up and wanted to make sure they apprehended the suspects quickly.
