SAN LEANDRO, CA – Alameda County firefighters responded and no injuries were reported New Year's Eve after an SUV crashed into a 7-Eleven in San Leandro.

Crews installed a "timber spot" to stabilize the store at 1240 Manor Blvd due to the structural damage sustained in the Sunday incident logged at 10:38 p.m.

"Thankfully there were no injuries," the department said.
