SAN LEANDRO, CA — A vehicle crashed into a building in San Leandro Monday morning but no one was injured, authorities said.
Alameda County firefighters who responded to the crash in the 1600 block of Grand Avenue in San Leandro at 9:43 a.m. Monday morning found structural damage to a residence, fire officials said.
A fire rescue unit used struts to hold up the structure while the vehicle was removed by a towing company, according to fire officials.

After the vehicle was removed, fire crews installed spot shores to support the building, fire officials said.
There were no reports of injuries to the driver, residents or firefighters, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

The people who live at the residence were not home at the time of the crash, authorities said.
